Bret Curtis

A bit about me.

I grew up in the USA, close to Washington D.C. and studied Computer Science at the University of Mary Washington. I graduated with an Academic Bachelor degree in 2005.

I have worked in IT/ICT professionally since 2001 and have worked with Linux since 1995. In that time I have worked for an ISP as a systems administrator, software engineer for start-up companies and as an independent consultant.

In my spare time I have also contributed to the Gentoo Linux project by testing and porting software to work on MIPS based hardware from Silicon Graphics Inc and Cobalt Networks.

Currently I live and work in Gent, Belgium as a software engineer. While not at work, I am playing board-games with my girlfriend, her son and our son.
